| Bhutan
|
|
If you think you have traveled everywhere we
can bet you probably have not been to the mountain nation of Bhutan. Located at
the top of the Himalayas, this small nation allows only a few thousand people a
year into the country. They just recently got TV and the internet is still years
away. Step back into time with a visit to Bhutan. Book early, as we said
earlier, the country only allows a few thousand people a year to visit and
experience this exotic locale.

Ankor Wat - One of the true ancient
wonders of the world. Now that peace has returned to this beautiful country
people once again have the chance to see these ruins and the surrounding
countryside. This country is for the experienced traveler looking for a
beautiful non-tourist destination.

| China
|
|
Here is a country where you can truly say, so
much to see, so much to do, so little time. For starters, Beijing - spend at
least 4 days here, any less and you will miss out. The Great Wall, the Beijing
Zoo, dinner and a Chinese Acrobat Show, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer
Palace, these are just a few of the things you will want to do while in Beijing.
Next head for Xian. Here you will see one of the greatest historical finds of
the century, the terra-cotta warriors. Also tour the BanPo village. Any trip to
China needs to include the Yangtze River. The new Three Gorges Dam is going up
and this area of the world will be forever changed. The dam is nearing
completion so the sooner you do this trip the happier you will be. Other cities
and sites to see in China include Shanghai, Chengde, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou,
Guilin, a cruise on the River Li and of course Tibet and it's capital of Lhasa.

| Hong
Kong
|
|
Now officially part of China, most people will
find this to be the most westernized city in China. The British past still
exists and shopping never ends. If you want to have good quality cloths made
while you are here give a good Chinese tailor at least 3 days, some prefer 4. If
you are considering a trip to China make this your first or last stop. If you
are going to do some serious shopping you might want to make it your last stop
and not have to carry all of your purchases around.

Delhi, Bombay, Taj Mahal. They all bring
visions of excitement and exotic travel. Visit ornate temples and palaces,
fabulous monuments, fortresses, colorful bazaars and timeless scenery. Take and
Elephant ride and stay in hotels that were once Royal Palaces. What more could
you want? Plan on 10 to 12 days to see this country and all it has to offer.

| Japan
|
|
The dollar has rebounded and now Japan is much
more affordable than in the past. Non-stop service from several U.S. cities to
Tokyo and other Japanese cities makes this probably one of the easiest treks to
the Orient. Tokyo is a busy city and very modern. In our opinion to experience
the true beauty of Japan you need to spend time in the countryside and small
villages. Here time moves slower and with much more grace and beauty. Bullet
trains will whisk you around this island nation or we can arrange for a private
driver (very expensive).
|
| Korea
|
|
Long known for excellent shopping, Korea will
not disappoint you. While North Korea is still closed to U.S. Citizens to visit
you will find plenty to see and do in the South. Many of our clients will
combine a trip to Korea with one to Japan, while others will just do a quick 4
or 5 day shopping trip to Seoul. If you have the extra time visit the
countryside and smaller towns to get a real feel for Korea. Seoul is a modern
hustle bustle western-style city with an Oriental flavor.

offers an ecological treasure of places to experience and stay. Trek through
mountain passes, climb Mt. Everest or just a part of Mt. Everest, go on safari
to see the elusive Bengal Tiger. Nepal has all of this and more. Our clients
find it easiest to get to by flying into Bangkok and then connecting non-stop in
Kathmandu. Frequent Flyers often book their free travel as far as Bangkok and
just have us book them from there to Kathmandu. Be sure and check out our Jungle
Safari. Very popular and people just rave about it upon their return.

| Singapore
|
|
Singapore - This island/city nation is as
modern as you could ask for. It is also on of the most international cities you
will ever visit. 2 to 3 days is what you will need to fully see this modern
metropolis. Let's not forget a stop at the Raffles Hotel where the famous
Singapore Sling was invented. Singapore makes for a great start or finish
for a visit to Southeast Asia. Many cruises will start of end their voyages
here. Singapore offers excellent air schedules to the U.S. and Singapore
Airlines has consistently rated as one of the top airlines for service and
hospitality.

Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket - Modern,
beautiful and very exotic. You can choose to do just this country or many times
our clients will just include Bangkok in a multi-city tour. Whichever you decide
you will not be disappointed. Bangkok has to be one of the most interesting
cities you will have the pleasure to visit. Shop, sightsee, visit gardens,
temples, a snake farm, the floating market and more. bring plenty of film and be
sure and have dinner one night on a converted rice barge as it sails through the
heart of the city at night.

| Vietnam
|
|
While the Vietnam War will always be a part of
American History, this lovely land and people provide for a wonderful exotic
vacation. Prices are still cheap, the people are unbelievable friendly and the
country is beautiful. This is definitely a place to go now as the tourists are
still discovering the country and it is relatively unspoiled. Take 7 to 10 days.
Start in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) head north to Hue, Hoian and Da Nang and
end your visit in Hanoi. Spend a couple of days in Haiphong and take a Haiphong Bay
cruise and see it's incredible limestone islands.
