Day 1:
Arrive in South Africa, your guide will meet you upon arrival at Johannesburg’s
O R Tambo International Airport. Depending on your time of arrival - depart to
Pretoria for a city tour that includes the Voortrekker Monument, Church Square
and Union Buildings. Lunch in Pretoria, before checking-in at our charming
little lodge near the airport. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 2:
Travel via Middelburg and Lydenburg to the province of Mpumalanga and the
“Panorama Route” of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, admire the natural
beauty of the Blyde River Canyon - third deepest canyon in the world, Bourke’s
Luck Potholes and God’s Window. Overnight near Hazyview.

Day 3:
Early morning departure for the world-renowned Kruger National Park (KNP). The
KNP is known to be the most diverse park in the world with 140 mammals, 119
reptiles, ± 506 bird, 55 amphibians and ± 1980 plant species. Dinner will be
served as a traditional “potjie” cooked by your guide - good luck. Overnight in
the park.

Day 4:
Another day to relax in the African bush and to continue with your search of the
“Big 5” and a host of other animals. Dinner will be a traditional “braai” -
barbeque prepared by your guide. Overnight in the park.

Optional activities: Enjoy a sunset or evening game drive in an open vehicle
with a park ranger.
Day 5:
After breakfast and a leisurely morning we depart from the park via Numbi Gate,
transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to catch a direct flight to
Cape Town (± 2 ½ hours). You will have a choice of a couple of touring options
on your arrival in South Africa’s beautiful Mother City. First option - weather
permitting and optional, you can take the cableway up Table Mountain. Second
option - a short orientation city tour, which includes the Castle of Good Hope,
City Hall & Parade Ground and DEI Company Gardens. Third option - check in at
your hotel, afternoon at leisure. Dinner at a restaurant on the V & A
Waterfront. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 6:
Take a scenic drive around the Cape of Good Hope. Visit Hout Bay and the Cape
Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point
and the Boulders - Penguins. Have lunch at one of the numerous restaurants in
Simonstown. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 7:
A day to do what you please - shopping or just relax at the hotel or optional -
visit Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens or you could visit Robben Island,
the place where Mr. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 17 years or weather
permitting an optional helicopter flip over the Cape Peninsula. Overnight in
Cape Town.

Day 8:
Wine tasting and cellar tour at one of the wine estates along the Cape’s
world-renowned Stellenbosch Wine Route, also spend some time in the picturesque
towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy sundowners on Signal Hill, before
dinner at Vijff Vlieghen (Five Flies) Restaurant. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 9, 10 & 11:
Transfer to Cape Town International Airport to catch your flight to Livingstone
- Zambia via Johannesburg. 3 x Nights on the banks on the mighty Zambezi River.
Visit one of the natural wonders of the world and there is no finer place to
immerse yourself in the majesty of the Victoria Falls.
Accommodation: Zambezi Sun *** (B) - Upgrades available
Optional activities:
• Open vehicle safari - Chobe National Park.
• Afternoon - Sunset cruise on the African Queen.
• Visit to Livingstone Island in the middle of the Zambezi River on the edge of
the Vic Falls.
• Tiger fishing on the Zambezi River.
• Scenic flights over the Victoria Falls.
• Visit the Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwe side.
• Various adventure activities.
Day 12:
After breakfast and a leisurely morning we will transfer you to Livingstone
Airport to catch your flight back to Johannesburg to catch your flight home.

Livingstone & return to Johannesburg, accommodation (3 - 4*), meals as
indicated, transfers, transport / guide / porter-age / conservation fees and
