If you wish to arrive a day early, then we will meet you upon arrival in
Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport and transfer you to the up-market
suburb of Sandton. Dinner can be enjoyed at a number of good restaurants within
walking distance of your hotel. Overnight in Johannesburg.

Day 1:
Your guide will meet you upon arrival in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International
Airport or he / she will collect you at your hotel. Enjoy the day out on an
interesting township tour of Soweto, visit the very moving Hector Pieterson
Museum and Nelson Mandela’s House - reflect on the “Apartheid” era of South
Africa’s history. This afternoon is set aside for shopping at Rosebank – “arts &
crafts” and then Sandton Centre, one of the premier shopping destination in
South Africa. Dinner will be served at the “Butchers Grill” restaurant on
Mandela’s Square in the Sandton Centre. Overnight in Johannesburg.

Day 2:
Travel to Polokwane the capital of the Limpopo province for a visit to Bakone
Malapa Pedi cultural Village, before we drive to Tzaneen via the picturesque
little town of Heanertsburg, then Sapeco Tea Estate for lunch and the “Big
Tree”- which is the largest Baobab in the world at ± 6000 years old, with a pub
inside the trunk! This afternoon, you have time to relax and enjoy the Agatha
Spa. Dinner will
be served at the hotel, which has one of the finest restaurants in the Limpopo
province. Overnight in the mountains near Tzaneen.

Day 3, 4 & 5:
Morning at leisure at the Coach House Hotel (what you did not get done at the
Spa yesterday, you have time to do this morning). Depart for the Korangwe
Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park (KNP)
region. Enjoy the next 3 days in the heart of the African bush in search of the
“Big 5” and a host of other animals. This area is known to be the most diverse
natural environment in the world with 140 mammals, 119 reptiles, ± 506 birds, 55
amphibians and ± 1980 plant species.

Daily activities:
• Safaris on an open vehicle with the local ranger.
• Bush walk with the local ranger.
• Visit to Moholoholo animal rehabilitation centre.
• Visit to Hoedspruit endangered species centre.
• Visit a local Sangoma / Inyanga – diviner / medicine man.
• Visit a local school.
• Get involved at night with the cooking of some local dishes.
• “Diamonds at Dusk” - visit from Robert our custom design jeweler.
Day 6:
Travel the “Panorama Route” of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, admire the
natural beauty of the Blyde River Canyon - third deepest canyon in the world,
Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window. There will be time on route for
shopping and lunch at the Famous Harries Pancakes in the picturesque little town
of Graskop. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight near White River.

Day 7: 23 Oct, Sat
Transfer - after breakfast and a leisurely morning to the Kruger Mpumalanga
International Airport to catch a direct flight at ± 13h35 to Cape Town (± 2 ½
hours). On your arrival, we set off for a venture into the wine land country
near Cape Town. We visit the picturesque town of Franchhoek, before a wine
tasting at one of the local estates.

Day 8:
First stop this morning is the delightful town of Stellenbosch, the “Oak Capital
of South Africa”, which is rich in history with the most impressive Cape Dutch
architecture. You will have time to wonder the oak-lined streets before we head
for Cape Town. On your arrival in South Africa’s beautiful Mother City - weather
permitting, we take the cableway up Table Mountain and then enjoy a short
orientation city tour, which includes the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall &
Parade Ground and DEI Company Gardens. Dinner will be served at a restaurant on
the Waterfront. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 9:
A day at leisure, where you can do the following optional activities – take a
ride around the city on the “hop-on hop-off bus” or visit a local township or
visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 17 years or visit to
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens or visit one of the numerous beautiful
beaches around the Cape or for the energetic - take a hike up Table Mountain or
for the brave - shark cage diving. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 10
Tour the Cape Peninsula. Take a cruise from Hout Bay to Duiker Island to view a
Cape Fur Seal colony. Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve with over 4500
species of Fynbos plants, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope - which is the
most south-westerly point of the continent of Africa. Enjoy some lunch at one of
the numerous restaurants in the little harbour town of Simonstown, before a
visit to the Boulders - African penguins. Farewell dinner will be served at
Mamma Africa restaurant in town. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 11
Morning at leisure. There will be time for last minute shopping and lunch at the
V & A Waterfront, weather permitting an optional helicopter flip over the Cape
Peninsula. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight home.

Included: Air ticket - Krueger to Cape Town, accommodation (4 - 5*), transport,
guide, porter-age, drinks in moderation on days 3, 4 & 5, meals as indicated,
