Alaskan cruise from Seattle, stopping in Sitka, Ketchikan,
Juneau, Glacier Bay and Victoria BC. Enjoy the sights and sounds
of an Alaskan Cruise plus enjoy exclusive access to Chef Jason
Hill and exclusive access to his cooking demos in the Holland
America Culinary Arts Center and more!
Chef Jason Hill will host 2
exclusive demonstrations in the Holland America Culinary Arts
Center. One demonstration will be on Sunday while we are at sea
the other other on our final day at sea. Then on Wednesday Chef
Jason will host a special wine tasting in the Culinary Arts
Center right after we leave Sitka.
Designed as a first-class show
kitchen at sea, Culinary Arts Centers aboard Holland America's
ships resemble the elaborate show kitchens used by celebrity
chefs on TV. In partnership with Food and Wine Magazine, each
facility features a theater-style venue with two large plasma
video screens and a large cooking display counter where guests
can learn from the masters.
You will get to sample the recipes
Chef Jason will be demonstrating and take the recipes home so
you can recreate these fantastic meals.
Then Chef Jason will be hosting a
special shore excursion at one of the ports of call to go visit
the local seafood centers to show you how to pick out fresh
seafood and answer all of your questions about selecting and
cooking seafood!
In addition there will other
surprises on the cruise that you will enjoy! So hurry as space
